Child sacrifice deal offered to undercover reporter
Allan was left for dead after a vicious attack
A BBC investigation has discovered that many cases of child sacrifice in Uganda are not being followed up by the police and little is being done to protect potential victims.
According to a major report released by the charity Jubilee Campaign, around 900 Ugandan children have fallen victim to the practice.

Opium production is rising in Afghanistan
According to a United Nations report, opium production in Afghanistan has risen by 61% this year compared with 2010.
One driver for this increase is rising opium prices in world markets.
Afghanistan produces 90% of the world’s opium, the main ingredient of heroin.

Leaping antelope brings down cyclist in South Africa
Dramatic footage has emerged of a South African mountain biker Evan van der Spuy being knocked off his bike by a charging antelope.
The clip, which was filmed by Evan’s colleague, Travis Walker has already been viewed more than a million times on YouTube.
The incident happened during a race across South Africa’s Albert Falls Dam and Game Reserve. Both the rider and the antelope were unhurt.
